• Account data: email, display name, encrypted login credentials.
• Reading inputs: floor plans, floor/room details, compass bearings, birth date/time for Ba Zi analysis, focus areas and notes you provide.
• Transaction data: order IDs, amounts and payment status via Shopify (shop.zhaiji.net); we do not store full card numbers.
• Technical data: page paths, device/browser type, referrer, load times for anonymous analytics and reliability.
• Communications: messages you send to ask@zhaiji.net or via our contact form.

2. How we use information

• Deliver feng shui readings, reports, membership content and digital downloads;
• Link Shopify purchases to your Zhaiji account;
• Improve the product, secure our systems, and run anonymous usage statistics;
• Contact you about orders, accounts or compliance when necessary.

3. Storage

Data is primarily hosted on Alibaba Cloud (Hong Kong). We apply reasonable safeguards; no internet transmission is perfectly secure.

4. Third parties

• Shopify — checkout, orders and customer accounts;
• AI / cloud providers — process floor-plan and text inputs to generate reports;
• Email providers — transactional messages when configured;
• Legal requests — when required by law or valid authority.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Cookies

We and Shopify may use cookies or local storage for:

• Essential — login, locale, in-flow calculation data;
• Functional — cookie consent preference (zhaiji-cookie-consent);
• Analytics — loaded only after you accept cookies in our banner.

6. Your rights

Where applicable law allows, you may request access, correction or deletion of account-related data at ask@zhaiji.net. Deletion may remove access to purchased digital content.

7. Retention

Account and report data is kept while your account is active; anonymous logs are rotated. Longer retention applies where law requires.

8. Children

Services are intended for users aged 18+. Contact us to remove data collected from minors without consent.

9. Changes

We may update this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
